The pilot woke up in the morning
& saw that his plane was gone
he felt so lost & alone
standing on the runway gazing into the sun
The pilot fell in love with a beautiful girl
& she fell in love with him but then
she didn't know what to say
& he didn't talk much anyway
so when he took off his shades
she was not on the plane
The pilot thought he was the king of the blue skies
But the other kings didn't want him around
It's said that lightning burned his plane
Tumbling down he would count
