4 MORE      HISTORY: Bloom05 used to call themselves Pure Laine - under that name, they released "Burn" [1992: Getto Ton CD 1003 / LC 9075] and "4 more" [1992: Getto Ton CD 1004 LC9075]. These two productions had a musical affinity with (American) bands like Dream Syndicate or Thin White Rope. The name change occurred in 1995, and really had nothing to do with a change in musical direction. It was primarily the result of numerous misunderstandings the old name brought about. "Pure Laine (pure wool) was misunderstood all over the place, especially in the States where everybody mixed it up with Pure Lane. I got tired of having to explain that our band had nothing to do with the pure way and that we also weren't there to preach any Christian sermons." (Georg Altziebler).
